Argumentation with integrity lesson sequencing guide

This downloadable pdf suggests a lesson sequence for educators using these resources as a unit of study.

In our efforts to help educators teach students strategies for developing strong arguments, we recently released the Argumentation with integrity instructional resource pack, which contains over thirty classroom-ready files to be used and adapted for middle school, high school, and higher education classrooms. Most resources are available in both U.S. and U.K. English versions.

Each step in the process is organized as a lesson with corresponding practice activities. Example resources include an educator guide, lesson presentations, corresponding practice worksheets, handouts and/or posters, self-assessments, and a rubric trait. More detailed descriptions can be found in the Argumentation with integrity educator guide.

While some educators may decide to only access a few resources to target instructional or intervention needs, others may decide to integrate the argumentation with integrity resources as a comprehensive unit. The downloadable PDFs below provides a suggested lesson sequence for educators interested in integrating these resources as a unit.
